Why I got Baptized

What if you question the meaning of your vain life?
What if your answer was so discouraging that you lost hope?
What if you found out that you could never be ‘good enough’ or ‘strong enough’?
What if you found out that there was nothing that you could do to earn love?
What would you leave behind if you died tomorrow?

What if someone told you that God has plans for your life?
What if you found out that God actually loves you?
What if there was a book that contained the words of God?
What if you found out that you sin, and it breaks God’s heart?
What if there was a kingdom where all of the people would seek for God?
What if, in this kingdom, there would be justice, peace and righteousness?
What if this kingdom would last forever?
And the people in it would never die?
What if God wants you to be in that kingdom so much that he sacrificed his son?
What if God raised him from the dead forever?
What if God wants to raise you from the dead as well and forgive you by his grace?
What if he asks you to crucify yourself and follow his son?
What if he asks you to follow him through the waters of baptism and toward his kingdom?
What if this is the reason that you’re alive?
What if you could live with a purpose, to God?
